What I'm thinking is the chassis ground is supplying inadequate 12.5 volts to keep the ignition relay contacts closed...now this is just a theory...you could check the battery to see if it's newer than five years old to see that it's inability to accept a charge has driven the operating voltage till the think simply cuts out with unsubstantial voltage~ you've got to undo and wirebrush the main ground connection to the frame...test the voltages and replace the battery with a NEW battery okay~?

No once it starts to die giving it gas does nothing and after it does. The battery is dead completely is it the alternator?
