Cracked windshield on brand new Honda CRV EX L Hybrid

Has anyone experienced windshield breakage on brand new Honda CRV
Hybrid EXL?.  I just bought brand new car yesterday, driving on a paved city
road, no debris, no big trucks, no wind.  Now windshield is cracked.  Is this a
glass quality issue?
