My 91 firebird with a 3.1L starts then dies after 10-15 seconds

Asked by RBolt Oct 26, 2014 at 05:32 AM about the 1991 Pontiac Firebird Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car runs then dies but starts right back up then dies. Replaced fuel pump and filter same thing. did some checking around and was told it could be the crank sensor. Pulled harmonic balancer and there is not a sensor there. I cannot find the sensor any where. was also told that this model does not have one. Cam sensor is the issue I am told now. Where is it?
