Need Suggestion on my Honda Odyssey 2022

Asked by Kathy_Parveen Jul 24, 2022 at 08:35 AM about the 2022 Honda Odyssey EX-L FWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I purchased my Honda Odyssey 2022 in May 2021, and A minor accident
happened in my community; it was another insurance party's fault. My car
value without an accident is 42XXX, but due to this incident, my car price is
displaying 35XXX on primary used car dealer's websites, and there is no
accident history on my car report yet.

I have requested a DV claim, but there has been no response. Should I keep
my odyssey or sell it as early as possible? Also, I am quizzing myself about
why my car value is less since there is no accident history on the report.

Please advise.

I think the question is were you planning on keeping the vehicle long term before the accident? If not, then go ahead and get it fixed and get rid of it. But if you were planning on keeping the vehicle long term, get it fixed, at the Dealer, because it's a new vehicle, and you don't want any problems with the warranty later on, and see how you feel after you get it back I've been where you are now. Many years ago I bought my first brand new vehicle. I had it for 6 months and someone crashed into me. It was there fault and the damage was minor to my vehicle. But after I got it back it just wasn't the same. There wasn't anything wrong with the vehicle, but to me it was ruined. I got rid of it about a year later. It was many years before I bought another brand new vehicle. I had that one for 19 years. Hope that helps! Jim
