Front strut mount

Is it possible to replace strut mount without
messing with the strut?

Depends on your definition of "messing". You need to remove the upper hardware on the strut and then you can loosen and remove the strut mount. However, If the struts are originals, this may be very difficult to do. Also, if you can get the strut hardware free, the alignment will be off after replacing the mount and it will need to be reset.

Got it done. I marked the existing mount then I blocked rear wheels and supported aframe and spring with floor Jack. Took the mount off and then I lowered the Jack and raised the body. Installed new mount. It was difficult loosening the strut bolt. Was very safe about it. Thank you so much. This site is so helpful to me.
