1993 Bonneville ssei supercharged

Asked by Jessica May 29, 2022 at 04:19 AM about the 1993 Pontiac Bonneville 4 Dr SSEi Supercharged Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When my sunroof drain holes were clogged, water
shorted out my digital display of my thermostat and
radio (original to the car). Got that fixed and they dried
out and started working again. Last week I was off 3
days and so she sat and it rained those three days and
now my controls are shorted out again. The fan runs
constantly when turned on and the radio won't turn
volume or station. The fee times it does come on, I
turn the fan off and try the radio but now there's no
volume even when I do turn on the radio. I'm not sure
where water is leaking to cause this again because my
interior was dry on the 4th day

Check the cowl area of the car, the area at the bottom of the windshield where the wipers reside. Open the hood and remove all debris so the water can drain to the ground.
