I have a 1995 bonneville ssei with 154000 miles one it. Just recently the dashboard lamp started to cause problems. During the day when the car headlight are not on the dashboard shows perfectly with no problems, but at night when the headlight are on the dashboard dims and you cant see anything i tried to adjust the to make it brighter but the dashboard light just stays dimm and doesnt do anything... any one else have this problem with their cars??

It sounds like a dimming circuit issue. If I had to throw a guess, I would say dimming switch maybe causing the problem. Though I cannot say that I heard of anybody that says they had the problem.
