should the hub bore on a 1995 pontiac firebird rear end be different then the front end? should wheels be different sizes on front and back?

there is a hub bore on the front only, where the outer bearing race goes.... are you talking about the studs (bolt circle) which is 5 on 4.75 front and rear, that means 5 studs on a 4.75" circle, center of stud to center of 2nd stud. the biggest measurement you can get across the studs
