Why the rough start?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After work today I went to the car wash and came
home. The car sat for a few hours and the next time I
started it, it sounded rough (almost like the starter was
not disengaging) and had a rough idle for a few
minutes. Since then the idle has gotten better and it
seems to run fine,  and there are no codes. It still has a
rough start though.  Has anyone else experienced this?
What would be a good starting point?

When you were at the car wash, did you wash inside the engine bay? You got some water on or in some electrical comments. Let it dry out or you'll need to remove items to make sure they are dry , like the plug and wires.

I did not wash inside the engine bay, however I did spray a lot around the hood and front bumper to get the bugs off. Thank you that is where I will start.
