Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Playing the sensor game, car was not running well, codes said to replace fuel. automatic idle, and oxygen sensors, I did and it ran a lot better but when it heats up it lobes, surges, and dies ,will not idle. Not sure if another sensor or vacuum leak

Cleaned throttle body replace idle sensor , automatic idle sensor, and mas air sensor, I talked to a mechanic and he said it's possible it is the crankshaft sensor or cam sensor. I'm changing the crankshaft sensor first, let you know what happens.

I would check the ignition module...saw a recent video on 3800 with problems and the motor was running on 1 coil, the circuit board under the coils was bad. Another source of poor performance is the cam sensor.

Hey Paul.I played the Sensor game, had same problems,it turned out to be combination of Crank Sensor, and Engine temp Sensor. The engine temp.,is very important,it sorta regulates like 6 different things in the motor, fuel injectors,MAF,Cooling Fan,and Oxygen Sensors"If the Maf shows error due to temp sensor.
