Can I turn my 1996 firebird into a 1998 firebird?

Asked by BrettLengacher Feb 27, 2008 at 03:05 PM about the 1998 Pontiac Firebird Base

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1996 firebird and I've always liked the 98-02 style and the other day I noticed that the only difference in looks is the front end and I was wondering if it would be possible to get new fenders, hood, and nose for my car and bolt it on to turn it into the newer style. Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks!

It is a little more detailed, but yes you can. Many of the guys in the F-body club have done this.
