how do yuo fix a power winndow failure?

the pasenger side power window has failed, lowering the window completetly. is it possible to mahually raise the window? plus, what might the actual problem be?

Sounds like the regulator took a dump. I would suggest having a mechanic fix this. If you can't reach the window itself to pull it up, you won't be able to manually raise it.
