Condenser fan

Asked by GuruBY6W8 Dec 14, 2018 at 05:24 PM about the 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 Pontiac Bonneville radiator fan will
not work. I've checked fuses and relays they
seem to be fine. My father mentioned an
inline fuse but I don't know where it is. There
is no power to the fan plugs at all.

Did you test the he coolant temperature sensor. Directly test fans by running 12 volts to them. No special polarity needed.

I tested the plus that run to the fans and there is no power to the plugs but my battery is in her my back seat and the only wire I have is for subs

Look for a fuseable link between your battery and the fan. It looks like a small fuse holder and is usually found mounted to the radiator frame or support on the side by the battery.
