1988 f150 extended cab . Bought it for 300 buck thought it was good deal. The front gas leaking so he took it off and the tank selecter too . And bought it . and tryed to crank it would not start .

Said he learned a 1988 f150 302
EFI  so i bought  the truck and
took it home and it would not start
. I am liost . It's had the front tank
took off and the selector tank took
off so I just hooked up front lines
to the carburetor up front and it
would not start.

If any one could help Just the tank and the tank selecter took off . I just hooked up the line and it wouldn't start . Can any one help.

You don't have a carburetor, The fuel injection needs a lot of pressure unless it's a TBI system so check the fuel pressure. Something about this sounds a bit wacky so keep me posted right here. I think the fuel pressure for TBI is 9-14 lbs for EFI its 45-60 lbs look these up if you can my memory is good but you never know. I hope this helps you, take care
