1996 Explorer XLT electric problem

Asked by ProfessorRiffs Feb 04, 2011 at 09:33 AM about the 1996 Ford Explorer 4 Dr XLT 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just bought this car, and after a couple of days the electrics started going wacky.  When I turn
the car off, the lights on the lower corner of the inside of both front doors stay lit.  Everything
electric works even with the keys out of the ignition.

I dis- and re-connected the battery and the problem is still there.

Any suggestions?
