I have a 92 nissan stanza xe a/t, trans is slipping and loss of power going up hills. What would prob be and how do i fix it?
Ive been told a lot of things and not sure where to start. I fixed pwr
steering leak, chg spark plugs dist. Cap n rotor. I was told theres water in
my transmission. When i flush it what will i need?
Who told you have water in your trans? Is it pink and foamy? Do you have Pink coolant now too? Only way for coolant to get into the trans is your radiator trans tank failed, as it's an integral part of the radiator. So you have to flush your transmission of fluid and repair and replace your radiator and coolant. If you have been driving for some time with coolant in the transmission, I'm sorry to say you will be rebuilding or replacing it.
Ok so i guess i dont have water in my trans. The fluid looks dark brown n ssmells burnt. What would be the cause of pwr loss going up hill?
