Does Modifing a high milage motor increase the limited life the motor has left?
actully that 335000kms, my bad
At the mileage, you best bet is to keep it tuned up and running efficient. The thing about adding HP to a old motor is your engine won't be able to handle the extra work it has to do, failing quicker than if it was new, so your essentially throwing money away. You best bet is to save that money for a new quicker future vehicle. Just my opinion.
To be onist you answered your own question really
Thought so. Thanks guys
At that mileage, if it's running well, don't touch it. Any modifications will just cause you lots of problems, unless you are planning to rebuild the whole engine.
