Battery cooling fan
I own a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybred wth 100 k. Miles. I have a code checker
and the code said that it was a battery cooling problem. I swapped the fuse
and the relay. Now all indicator lights are on and the fan runs all the time.
You might have to have this issue serviced at the Dealership. I seem to remember a Factory Service Bulletin describing a dirty HV Battery Cooling Fan issue. The fan needing cleaning and a re-flash of a Computer. Try Googling you make model year and Hybrid Battery Cooling Fan.
The fan and duct ware clean. The fan wasn't working until I swapped the fan relay with another relay. Now the fan runs all the time plus all the warning lights stay on.
Last chanc garage, what do you mean by a re flash of a computer.
Ok....a reflash of a computer means an update to the software of said computer..this is usually performed at the dealership. Since you have a swapped relay in place of a correct relay...why not just go out and buy the CORRECT relay? But....then you have to properly clear all the codes so you can turn off those warning lights. Well...this is the problem with these computer controlled cars...you can not fix them like we used to in the good old days.

For starters, anyone with a Toyota hybrid should purchase either a Mini-VCI cable, or the much better VCX cable. You can get one from the usual eBay, AliExpress, etc. With that cable you will use a Windows software application called Techstream. This will display the error codes for the car, and performs numerous other functions (eg turning off various annoying beeping sounds when reversing, opening doors, etc). Hybrid cars have a blower fan which blows air through the hybrid battery to prevent it from getting too hot. Heat kills batteries, so it is essential that the hybrid battery gets a supply of air. Over time dust and general junk will build up on the fan, reducing its ability to push air through. Thus, the fan needs to be removed and cleaned. It’s not particularly difficult. You will want to have a trim removal tool. Again, the usual eBay, AliExpress, etc. You can look on YouTube to find video clips showing how to remove the hybrid battery for your particular model of hybrid. In such videos, you will see the blower fan and learn how to gain access to it for cleaning.
I have same issue with cell fan Camry Hybrid 2007 after re-conditionning all cells to 80% capacity because block 3 was weak per alert checker, after cell pack re-install, the fan isn't turning on and there is no alert code checker displaying the fan was working when block 3 became weak any thoughts on how to resolve .. thanks much
