why won’t my truck start?

Asked by Hdmechdan Dec 03, 2020 at 12:00 PM about the 1997 Ford Ranger XLT Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driving truck and lost pedal coasted to stop and
shut off like it ran out of gas.  Would crank but not
start.  Checked fuel pressure had none.  Changed
fuel pump, filter, and fuel pressure regulator.  Now
have pressure but still won’t start.  All fuses are
good and no codes

Battery has full charge and connections all good. engine cranking, do you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? What is your fuel pressure, for 3.0L my info says 35--45 psi, if about in the middle, should be fine.
