My 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8L no lights on dash and won't turn over after re-seating alternator
I had a bolt break in the alternator and had to have it drilled out. After re-seating the alternator and reconnected the belts the engine will turn over once and the 'fall asleep". Then it will not turn over at all. The only hint I have is none of the lights on the dash are coming on and the hazard light will not come one. The interior lights, horn etc all work. I know it's something simple and would appreciate you alls help. Thanks.
Take a look at all the fuses and relay. Make sure they are ok. Fuse box is below the steering wheel at the left. You will also be able to find all the relay boxes easily with this: http://www.b15u.com/threads/36-Relay-amp-Fuse-Diagrams Also make sure the lights are really not on. They could be feeble but still on if the battery energy level is low.
