Is this a good used car for my 18 year old son to purchase?

Asked by HILFC Nov 17, 2014 at 01:44 PM about the 2004 Nissan 350Z Performance

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Nissan 350z performance, 2004, automatic with 58,668 miles.  It has had three
owners and was last purchased at auction by a dealer.  Dealer asking price is within
NADA/BlueBook mid price range, would be a trade in deal with his 2001 Honda Civic.
CARFAX record seems clean, only visible cosmetic is tear in seat.
My son has a good understanding of minor do-it-yourself repairing on his current
Honda Civic.  He has two part time jobs, lives in mid-size city with climate that
includes sleet, frozen roads and hot summers.
I welcome your advise.

Allot of car for a young kid, I purchased an old junk box for my kids because I knew that we going to get into an accident which they did. They really need to have a few years of driving experience. But other then that its a nice car, good luck with it.
