Use digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts. If much below that, get it charge up. Leave meter leads touching battery posts, have helper turn key to crank, how does the voltage react? Does it drop way down or not drop at all. If the reading drops way down, well below 9 volts, that won't work. If the reading doesn't drop, you have an open circuit. battery connections all good? If battery voltage was lost at anytime, some modules may have to relearn or be reprogrammed? Below is a relearn procedure, don't know if it will help? It just depends on what is wrong. good luck
