2006 chevy impala 3.5 heater

do you hear any vent doors or actuators open or close when you make the selection ? If you can get to the control panel clean the contacts or see if it's getting power ,

you need to let it run and then purge the air out of the motor, there should be a vented petcock valve on one of the water lines(smaller line) or loosen the radiator cap and run it a while like that.

thanks for the replies will check some of them out tomorrow when its daylight out trying get heat going in it for my aunt starting too get cool temps outside now here in west virginia
