Clutch goes to the floor

Asked by GuruBX9H6 Dec 22, 2018 at 02:07 PM about the 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My husband thought I needed a new clutch but we realized
that the reservoir is empty. Can you just fill it back up? Do
you have to bleed it.. if so how? He seems to think it is alot
of work and specialized tools.. I would like my car back..

1 Answer

Fill it up and pump it a lot. Hopefully it will start working but someone may have to go under the car to bleed it. Since it is low you have a leak so you probably should replace the leaking cylinder.
