Hi I just bought a car from a dealer and got the title that was stamped by a insurance company because it was bought through a insurance auction but the dmv is giving me a hard time registering it??

http://dmv.ny.gov/registration/about-salvage-vehicle-examination....This is for the state of NY but I suspect other states are similar. Did you know you were buying a vehicle with a salvage title? Seems the dealer is pulling the wool over your eyes. Have the dealer take the car back and give you a full refund if at all possible.
