03 Mitsubishi 2.4 starts for a few seconds then dies

I replaced the injectors and the fuel pump is working but it acts like it is starving
for fuel

I also replaced the injectors, the fuel control valve and it ran but it ran rough. Then I replaced the mass air flow sensor and it now works great! The problem was fixed only after the flow sensor.
