What are these for??

Asked by Oct 09, 2011 at 08:09 AM about the 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS

Question type: General

Girlfriend just bought 04 GS.  Loves it.  At the bottom of both doors are arc shaped
cutouts about 4 inches long.  Looks like something was in these cutouts.  Reflectors?
Lights?  We have no idea what was there.  They are on both sides and identical.  Any
ideas?  Thanks.
