Misfire cylinder 3

I have a 2005 mini cooper i just picked up. Was
told check engine light is on due to cylinder 3
misfire. Ive changed plugs, wires, coil pack. Drove
fine for a min. Then car started riding rough. Not
enough power. And began to over heat. Any
ideas??

Do a compression test , a blown head gasket may be the reason they sold it , or try a new injector but I wouldn't buy any parts for a car with a major problem . There are lemon laws if it had a major problem the seller did not tell you about

Tried the new injector. Car still acts funny. It will turn on no problems. And right after it warms up it get shaky and looses power almost. Ill put it in drive and takes a min to go into the next gear. It just recently started over heating. Can a plugged catylic converter cause it to run scetchy like that?
change your oil pressure switch

Did you try changing you timing valve because that should fix the shaking and it runs about 35 to 50 dollars depending on where you buy it
