Front end shakes when braking

Asked by Jun 26, 2017 at 12:24 PM about the 1998 Mercury Sable 4 Dr LS Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

98 sable, I replaced rotors and brake pads both sides, still no help, I was told it
could be the sway bar links.  If so I will replace them just wanted to ask is this
possible sway bar links could be associated with braking.

Possible that the sway bars are loose and causing the vibration, but then again any other suspension component that is worn or loose could cause the same issue. Get the car in the air to determine what parts are causing the problem before just replacing parts.
