2002 Mercury Villager base stalling every stop

Stops as car slows to almost stop and when deaccelerating,turning corners if
take foot off gas . jerks a little.

I suspect the TPS (throttle position sensor). It could be a lot of other things, like low fuel pressure, bad sensors, ect. Best to hook up a scanner and see if there are any codes thrown out, first.
