Are the terminals tight and corrosion free? Did you drive the car any distance or just start it up this morning? Does the battery have 12.4 volts?

when 1st got it i had that check for and everything was fine, driven it yestorday but when i went to start it this morning nothing, not even a clicking sound, and yes the battery has 12.4 volts. i just brought the battery saturday and put it in sunday and i driven it sunday and yestorday.

Asking about battery because it could be discharged now creating your no crank no start condition. Any check engine light? And have you checked fuses and relays?

no check engine light, none of the light will actual turn on, not even the door lights. My fiancee and i both check the fuses and he works on cars for a living, but the fuses are fine and from what i see so are the relays. but the car was sitting for a long time before i inherited the car from my aunt who passed away. could that have caused something to go wrong, the last time i had this problem since i got is was while we were working on the car to get it up and running. I put gas in it when it was starting but wouldn't stay started.

I myself haven't. but to just get the car to our home we had to jump started and that was about 4 months ago.

Are all your ground wires good? Alternator, engine and body grounds. Mice or squirrel evidence? No corrosion and bare metal contact surfaces only?

My thoughts as it ran yesterday is a fuse or relay, ignition switch or bad ground.

when we checked all the wires were good, alternator is fine, same with the engine and body grounds. no evidence of mice or squirrel. or corrosion and bare metal. I saw my neighbor's friend, she hit the hood of the car pretty hard when she walked between the cars, but i dont think that would have done anything to it unless they did something to it when either of us was home.

With this hit of the hood....have you checked with a test light all your fuses for power on each side of the fuse for contact and power? Also relays have to be checked for control and resistance. I have seen what appeared to be a good fuse not work in a slot. You have to check power through the fuse. You need to dig deeper on your electrical as this is an electrical issue.
