Abs wheel speed sensor malfunction only when tires are on the ground
07 ford mustang gt recent rear end replacement, weeks later driving today abs light and traction control light came on. code c1165 speed sensor malfunction took to shop scan tool connected placed in gear tires hanging in the air sensors registered same speed left to right manually slowed 1 tire it showed slowed other tire it to showed. cleared code put in gear again still worked fine. lowered car to the ground as soon as the car was off the jack code came back on ground rolled backward and forward right rear sensor incorrect speed recorded jacked up rear end speed recorded correctly put back on ground stopped recording correct speed. so my car is like a temperamental 2 yr old who wants mommy to carry her bc she doesn't want to walk. i have a automotive degree my dad ase master certified and the tech at the shop also puzzled what could be causing this
