Sounds like the power steering pump is putting a drag on your engine. Is the engine bay noisy? Remove the serpentine belt and spin the power steering pulley, does it move freely? Does the reservoir have fluid in it?

Best Answer Mark helpful

Know the engine bay is not noisy, I have fluid in the reservoir.
