My abs light stays on

I have a 2002 Lincoln LS my abs light stays
on and also when I start it it runs really rough
and sometimes dies when I put it in gear

You will need to get the computer checked for codes. As for the running rough, when was the last time it was tuned up? The car is 17 years old now so there could be a lot of things.
