03 Lincoln LS v6 battery died?

Asked by Johnnywettsem Apr 29, 2021 at 03:28 AM about the 2003 Lincoln LS V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Well I was driving the car every time I
got in it it would turn over and start
no problem. My rear-view mirrors
would constantly adjust themselves
and I couldn't get them to stop but
the battery died and I charged it back
up. I put the battery in hooked up the
hot and the ground . The trunk light
come on so I figured everything is
alright. When I open my driver's door
the alarm went off for about 2 or 3
seconds I got in the car and try to
start it. Nothing.... My red security
light inside on the dashboard was
blinking now the only thing that
happens when the key is turned on is
seat belt light or I believe that's what
it is it's yellow. Car won't start won't
do anything.

You need to lock then unlock the vehicle with the key fob. Hope that helps! Jim
