Where is the transmission sensor located?

The car jerks and the idle speed jumps up and down. I was told it needed some kind of sensor. What is it called, where is it located, and how do you replace it?

try changing your map sensor,is located near the throttle body,also check the sticker on passenger side strut tower,it has a digaram of how to get to it.
