Is there a default code for the radio of a 1997 Kia Sportage?

We recently purchased a 1997 Kia Sportage from a dealership and the radio does not turn
on. There is no owner's manual, therefore there is no way to find out what to do to get it to
work. How can we rectify this system?

Is the radio digital? You may need the radio security code from a Kia dealer.

Dose it light up at all? Dose it show the stations..... Anything?

Contact your local Friendly Kia dealer and see if they can get you the radio code. Have the VIN # handy
