Why wont my kia optima start?
I have replaced timing belt, the car fires, it is not the a chip in the key, good plugs and wires and still nothing. No codes when I diagnose car. Any suggesstions
If it ran before you maybe a tooth or 2off on the timing belt, if it is off too much you can bend valves.
Thanks, It wasn't running before. I double checked the timing belt it's right and it just makes a spinning, whining noise when I turn it over. It tried to start a little after I replaced injectors or sounded like it wanted to. But still nothing. It has compression and I've just about given up. I'm clueless on what else to do. Thanks for your help
It may have been setting too long, try putting in a little oil in each cylinder, not too much as you don't want to foul the plugs.
have the crankshaft positions sensor check
