electrical problem???

I have a 98 accord ex and my battery light, brake light, door open lights and emergency brake light are on. fuses are blowing and my battery keep dying. Please help... Alternator and battery are ok, had them checked.

i am having a similar issue the battery, emergency brake and door lights are on and the car starts and runs fine i had my battery replaced a few months ago is there a simple fix for this? or do i need to take this to a mechanic to get it checked out? thanks for the help

sounds like a short in a wire. this can be hard to find could be anywhere. could simply be dirty grounds or bad connections on main poer wires.

in this order: 1. check battery connections, especially the positive wire/negative too; 2. ground; 3.ground; 4. ground; 5. alternator belt must be tight 6. alternator connections/sockets 7. alternator 8. use light tester for possible power drain from dome light, truck light and lastly 9. shorts.
