2004 Accord: Battery will not hold charge. Replaced battery 4 times, same problem.
Shop did diagnostic tests, twice, said the electrical system was okay, and told me I simply needed to start the car every day, but I have a company car and only use the Accord on the weekends. Is this symptomatic of this model?
www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdIKNnwEjIs -- check this out. It shows how to test for your problem circuit. Your battery should not drain down in just a week. I would find another shop or do the draw test yourself.
But if your car sets unused for a month or more I would advise to crank it every couple of weeks or install a battery tender to keep it fully charged.
I had a problem (07 Acura TL) but the Acura dealership did a drain test come to find out it was my hands free link was staying on. You say shop do you mean the dealership?
