Resale price 00 Yukon Denalj

Asked by Sara Jun 12, 2018 at 01:48 PM about the 2000 GMC Yukon Denali 4WD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I have a 2000 GMC Yukon Denali I am looking to
sale outright, but I need to know how much it's
worth. It has some mechanical issues, needs sway
bar, control arm, wheel cylinder, and the brake
booster is going bad to fix these is more than i
want to spend on an 18 yo vehicle.. it has a few
cosmetic issues missing interior door handles and
side of drivers seat is very worn from getting in and
out. It has 177,000 miles. Runs good, motor is
solid, has minor age rust on hood from road chips.
I just need to know what a decent price is for
individual sale vs trades in .  Thanks

Try these valuation tools: www.edmunds.com, kelleybluebook.com, nadaguides.com, be truthful on its condition and options to get a more accurate price valuation. Keep in mind where in the country you live affects a vehicle's blue book value - Los Angeles will swing higher, whereas the Midwest will go lower. Your truck also needs a chunk of money to be put into it, that's likely over $1,000 in work you described needing. So don't expect to get it's blue book value in return. This website also can compare your asking price to similar models and will note if you are above or below the average. (On a positive note, Yukon Denali's do retain their value better than other large trucks, such as the Ford Expedition or Dodge Durango.)

Maybe $1,500 on a good day. Trade in would be almost nothing.
