I am shopping for a 2015-2017 A3. Any thoughts on pre-owned lease vs. dealer daily loaner vs. brand new?
All comes down to what you want to pay. I would prefer one coming off lease due to the lower price and you can get it certified with a decent warranty.
Leases are only good if you don't drive a lot.
I bought my 2015 as a CPO car, <1 yr. old, with <5k miles, for ~$6k off and a 6 year warranty, which I think was a good deal. Compared lease vs. buy at the time, and the numbers were pretty much the same. Besides, I wanted to make a few minor mods (RS4 grille, lowering springs, exhaust, wheels), so decided to buy.
