2001 Isuzu Trooper trying to find the transmission dipstick & SPARK PLUGS DON'T KNOW WHERE IT IS
I was told my trooper doesn't have a transmission dipstick.. I'm also trying to change the spark plugs (car hesitates while pressing the gas peddles) can't find them :( .. the transmission light keeps flashing along with an A/TOIL TEMP LIGHT.. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?GASKET NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. I'M A FEMALE NEED HELP PLEASE tell me how can I repair these issues.
Spark plugs are located under the coil, each plug had it's own coil so the coil has to come off to gain access to the plug. Trans lights on is not a good sign, these rigs require special service procedure for the tranny, you may have a blocked filter or a plugged tranny cooler, the best thing for in this trans case is to take to a sh that knows about these transmissions and their little quirks on servicing.
Thank you dearly. I took your advice & took my car to a transmission mechanic. I had to leave my car there so they can check both gaskets. I'm praying it's what you said & not the transmission giving out on me. Once again thanks a million. Blessings to you.
