Chevy k1500 5 speed
I took the battery off of my truck then put it back
on hooked everything up the same way but it won't
start or even turn over lights come on but nothing
That's right, the large red wire that goes for the battery to the power distribution box is what is supplying power to the lights and other internals, the large cable from the battery to the block and the starter are the ones you need to look at very closely, you might try bending the cables, if you hear a crunching sound when you do this then it is time to replace the cables as corrosion has already got inside the wiring. HTH
Came to find out it was a security issue.. there is a little button I have to press and hold every time now to crank it would like to bypass that some how looks like someone had a gps on it at won't point
If you could afford it I would have it removed and everything put back to stock. Those aftermarket systems always mess up and are hard to diagnose unless the selling dealer is still using the same units.
