1994 chevy k1500 4L60e
I have a chevy k1500 with a 4l60e just had it
rebuilt an it shifts fine when it's cold but
once it warms up I have to manually shift it
I've replaced everything except pcm
Should have the person who rebuilt it look at it.
Transmission expert is always the preferred route with trans issues. However I'd start by flushing it, may have built up some crud on the magnet in the pan after the break in period. Seems like you're on the right track with the pcm though. Those early electronic transmissions have come to be a bit tempormental I've the years and milage.
Never flush a transmission unless it has ben done with fluid & filter changes at regular intervals.
Since yours has ben just rebuilt the shop who rebuilt it may want to do this. Just take it back to who has done the work.
I'm taking it back to the shop when I get time it only thing on the truck is the pcm I've replaced an rebuilt the whole truck now it's just not shifting automatically when it warms up
