can an intake from an 89 305 be modified to fit an 84 305

i have an 89 Chevy c/k 2500 with a 305 and we are swapping the motor on it
and the motor is from an 84 and when we went to put the intake on the middle
bolts won't line up, i was wondering if it can be modified to fit.

You can try to wallow out the holes on the 89 intake. Or get a tbi adapter for the older intake. Or swap heads over.

hello there!, this is not an advisable move . Be safe and stick with specs on configuration and specific parts to prevent future unknown problems from occuring from the modification.
