89 Chevy truck cab to onto a 1976 Chevy truck frame

I would like to know if cab bolts on
an 89 truck cab need to be
relocated to fit on a 76 frame?
Both are k2500

Even if it's not a direct bolt on, you can always modify mounting points to accept just about any cab. Hot rodders do this quite often.
