How do I clear oil change message in 2017 escape

Had my oil changed early , dealer forgot to clear alert saying change is
needed,  how can I clear message ?

Turn key to the on position hold the accelerator and brake pedal down at the same time until massage says oil reset complete.

This is oil life reset. Even if question has already been answered, I figured I might as well post it. Everybody have a good day.

That was easy !! I tried looking it up in the manual.....pfffft.....

Once reset, how many miles before it goes off again? I just used synthetic and it should be at least 7500 not 3000. So?
