Heating/AC and radio
sometimes when I start my 2005 G-35 the heating/ac is on but am unable to change any
setting, so the radio doesn't work.
okay there is a 15 amp Radio fuse~ check it~
fuse is good, sometimes all components work correctly. no rhyme or reason, just starts working
must be ground potential....clean the MAIN ground 1/0 battery cable to the chassis ground with a wirebrush...disassemble and hold the lug with a pliers and scrub all the corrosion off to reveal a shiny surface that's comfortable with 300 or more cold cranking amps~ the chassis as well...with restored ground to the chassis, your radio should behave~
Those radios are notorious for going bad!! The whole design of the thing is flawed! Same problem in my car - all the lights went out and I have to bash it with my hand to make it come on! i lost only one control, the down on the temp button... temp could be moved up but not down. both sides were at 90... pulled battery cable and they reset to 75 each
btw when i described problem to dealership they said replacing the circuit board was 750.00
I am having the same problem radio goes on for a sec and then turns off. Ac/ heat if you catch the loght on and quickly change temp your ok. It will go on and off but it will stay on hot or cold once you adjust. Really I have very minimal control. Infinity dealer says to get a new curicut board at $1300. How can I fix this myself. Im a girl who is willing to try need this fixed. Bought this car used from the dealer with a 3 month warranty and sure enought after the 3 months this happened.
I went in sude my radio to fix my ismule system, accidentally remove the radio face, My ac control works but there no displays on the radio,I control the radio with the staring wheel but not with the radio control any ideas of what went wrong ?
