Bad steering wheel shaking, can't speed up.

So a couple weeks ago my 2007 Pontiac
G6 had a loud clunking noise when I'd take
a sharp turn. I would say it was in the front
passenger side under the hood. Now
driving home from work, I got on the
highway trying to speed up and my
steering wheel started shaking
uncontrollably and I couldn't speed up.
Help please.
